The charm of fame is so excessive that we like every object to which it is attached, even death and face lifts. Magical Hollywood crosses geographical boundaries to include parts of Los Angeles, New York, France, and Montana; the first-class lounges of international airports; nightclub VIP rooms; hyper yachts; and secluded, pampering resorts in odd locations. You may reach this Hollywood only via jet, helicopter, comfortable boat, motorcycle, or luxurious yacht. In Hollywood, people eat raw foods, wear thousand-dollar T-shirts, and bemoan their loss of creative freedom. Once inside, you will do anything to stay. One drawback to being onstage for most of your life is that eventually you forget how to act when you’re off it. Not that it matters. In such a life, you’re never really offstage. Even walking from your bedroom to the kitchen you can’t lower your guard . . . at least not if you’re on the set of one of the most anticipated TV specials of the season– one starring you. Here is my position: I am a senior at Oklahoma U in the business college (well-respected part of the college) majoring in accounting. I have a 3.9 GPA and was thinking about applying for the master’s program. I am an army veteran and just joined AFROTC. I was thinking about perhaps doing army rotc with GRFD scholarship. THat way I could stay in the reserves as an officer after i graduate and try to find a good job in the corporate world. Or, I could continue to pursue active duty in the air force as an officer, work towards my masters while i finish the program, retire after 15 years and then get into the corporate world. I suppose if i only stayed in the army reserves I would try to earn my CPA license. Being a 2nd LT with so many years of service already I would start around 60K, be somewhere close o 90 after about 3 years, and be able to retire by time I’m 43. Active duty I would have free health care for me and my family; however, the reserve health care is not too bad at all either, and my reserve pay check would more than cover the bill. Ok, so maybe I gave more than just money details, so any suggestions would be nice from a monetary stand point or not. I guess in short, what do you all think it would be the better option. Open Question: How hard is it to get accepted into a Doctor of Physical Therapy program? Resolved Question: Physicians Assistant career question? I initially thought that you simply had to earn a bachelors (masters if you want) at a university, but i searched for physicians assistant college programs, and they are all at medical centers or health sciences branches of university, so to become a PA i have to go to a 4 year university, and THEN attend med school or what?
